Ohio - RN Clinical Decision Unit/ER Float - Day Shift - Zanesville


Job Description:
Only start date available in May is the 15th - nothing else! If the RN cannot start on that date, the next open date is not until mid June.
ONLY EXCEPTION would be a traveler returning to Genesis in < 9 months (that RN can start on any date).
RN will primarily work on the Clinical Decision Unit (formerly known as Observation), but will also be required to float to the Emergency Department.
The RN MAY be asked to also occasionally float to other Med-Surg units (Respiratory, Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, etc.
).
36 hours/week, day shift (7a - 7:
30p) with every other weekend required.
Taking call would be a very rare occurrence.
Current Epic EMR proficiency is required (refresher classes or having someone sit 1:
1 with them are NOT options), so please ensure that this is documented in the referral information.
Active BLS and ACLS are both required.
Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Step-down experience is required (must be able to read Telemetry/BCRA; they will be tested for this skill on day one and will be immediately terminated if they cannot pass the competency; will also be immediately terminated if we Client they are not Epic proficient).
Minimum Guaranteed Hours:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
