Summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist will assist the warehouse and supply chain department by taking ownership of the process to maintain accurate inventory levels on the warehouse floor.
Schedule:
8am-5pm M-F with the possibility for overtime as needed Responsibilities/Duties:
Perform cycle counts regularly Audit and reconcile bin locations Identify and report root causes of inventory variances Ensure all items are received and stored in correct locations Ensure WMS best practices are followed pertaining to inventory transfers, cycle counts, spoilage accounting and receiving product Assist in managing WMS bin rules Work directly with supply chain to resolve and update inventory variances Required Skills/Abilities:
Minimum One year certificate from college or tech school OR, One year related working experience Understanding of inventory control systems such as ERP and/or WMS systems Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite Strong attention to detail Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written Physical Demands/Safety:
Constant moderate physical effort including walking, standing, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
