JOB SUMMARY AND
Responsibilities:
Operates Tajima embroidery machine to embroider decorative designs on garments by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following:
Reads work order to determine proper logo and location of embroidery.
Checks with supervisor on all aspects of what each job curtails.
Changes needles in Tajima machine and re-threads needle as needed.
Uses embroidery hoops to hold fabric tight.
Read ruler to ensure proper positioning of garment in hooping.
Check garments, colors and all programs to be run.
Operates automatic embroidery machines with multiple sewing heads controlled by disk. Observes Tajima operation to detect defects in stitching that indicate machine malfunction. Loading and unloading of Tajima machine.
Follows all safety procedures to assure a safe work place. Other duties may be assigned as directed by Management.
